global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">New R28 rope testing device for the zipline in the Styrian Alps.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zipline.at\/\">Stoderzinken zipline<\/a> in Gr\u00f6bming, Styria, now has a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ropesys.com\/en\/rope-inspection-devices\/#r28\">R28 rope inspection device<\/a> from <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">ROPESYS<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Anyone flying over the Alps there at speeds of <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">up to 115 km\/h <\/span>is likely thinking more about the adrenaline rush than about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ropesys.com\/en\/produkt-kategorie\/magnetic-rope-testing-devices\/rope-testing-devices-up-to-28-mm\/\">inspection of the cables.<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To ensure things stay that way, the experienced <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">operations team <\/span>diligently takes care of <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">technical maintenance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The facility spans <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">two sections and a total distance of 2.5 kilometers,<\/span> making it the largest zipline in Europe. <\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Keeping an eye on eight suspension cables: the R28 cable testing device<\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On both sections, four cables are tensioned in parallel\u2014making a total of<span style=\"color: #c51d23;\"> eight load-bearing cables<\/span>. All of them must be inspected regularly.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For this reason, those in charge on-site recently acquired a brand-new<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ropesys.com\/en\/produkt-kategorie\/magnetic-rope-testing-devices\/\"> R28 rope testing device.<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The device uses <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">magnetic induction<\/span> to inspect wire ropes directly on-site at the installation. It precisely detects and documents wire breaks as well as other changes in the rope structure. <\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">On-site personal instruction<\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ropesys.com\/en\/rope-inspection-devices\/\">ROPESYS rope testing devices<\/a> are easy and intuitive to operate. Step by step, <a href=\"https:\/\/ro-tec.net\/unternehmen\/ansprechpartner\/martin-wehr\/\">Dr. Martin Wehr<\/a> demonstrated how to correctly attach the compact testing device to the rope. <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In addition, the team practiced using the <span style=\"color: #c51d23;\">R28 rope testing device<\/span> and systematically analyzing the measurement data.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In this way, the employees became familiar with the device under the very conditions in which they would later use it.
