ROPESYS GmbH offers rope testing equipment for various applications
Types
The magnetic rope testers are offered in the R (round/closed) and U (bottom open) series.
Depending on the area of application, the optimum design can thus be selected.
While R-magnets completely enclose the rope during the test and can be arranged as desired, U-magnets allow the rope to pass obstacles such as support saddles or rope riders.
Sizes / clearances
There are three device sizes to choose from for each of the two designs R and U. The size number indicates the maximum inside diameter of the respective test instrument.
R28
The R28 is a lightweight among rope testers. Thanks to its compact design, it is also suitable for confined spaces. The R28 can be used for ropes up to 28mm diameter: Hauling ropes of ropeways, hoisting ropes of storage and retrieval machines, hoisting ropes of crane systems, conveyor ropes of ski lifts, etc.
U28
The U28 is especially designed for testing track ropes of smaller ropeway installations. The attached pneumatic cylinders allow all obstacles such as supports and rope riders to be passed over effortlessly and safely.
R58

R83
The R83 can be used to test ropes up to a maximum diameter of 83mm.
U83
The U83 is specially designed for testing track ropes of large ropeway installations. The attached pneumatic cylinders allow all obstacles such as supports and rope riders to be passed over effortlessly and safely.
R140
The R140 is designed for ropes from 80mm – 140mm. It has a modular design and can thus be easily transported by hand.
R140+
ROPESYS develops rope testers also beyond 140mm! There are practically no limits here, so we have already developed, produced and supplied rope testing devices for ropes over 300 mm in diameter on behalf of customers
