Cable car testing in Utah – 57 systems in just ten days.
Against an impressive natural backdrop and in bright sunshine, a ROTEC team was once again deployed in the USA with ROPESYS technology.
Our colleague Sebastian traveled to Utah to test numerous cable cars using the magnetic induction method – a total of 57 systems in just ten days.
In cooperation with WIRE ROPE SERVICE, INC.
Sebastian wasn’t alone in this journey, as he worked together with Jorg Tonett – the owner of our long-term partner WIRE ROPE SERVICE, INC. from California.
The collaboration with the experienced US company has been established for many years, and this time too, everything worked smoothly and professionally.
Rope tests in well-known ski areas
The tour took us through some of the most famous winter sports regions in the USA, including Park City, Snowbird, Sundance and Deer Valley.
ROPESYS rope testing devices were used in all operations – as usual, precisely, quickly and reliably.
Modern technology ensures safety
Our technology detects even the smallest irregularities in the rope, as high-resolution sensors analyze the magnetized rope via more than 50 channels.
Wireless data transmission enables immediate evaluation on the laptop, so that critical points can be identified early – before failures occur.
Strong partnerships enable global operations
The successful test mission in Utah shows once again how important international cooperation is. Only with well-coordinated teams on site can many cable cars be inspected precisely and efficiently in a short time.
Experience, technology and teamwork together lead to the goal.
Security worldwide with ROPESYS
ROPESYS rope testing devices are used worldwide – in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. Wherever the highest safety requirements apply, operators rely on our technology.
Because safety knows no boundaries – and it begins with a reliable cable car inspection.
ROPESYS – safety at the highest level.
