Rope testing devices of the latest generation – now available

New development

Since its founding, ROTEC GmbH has been intensively involved in the development of state-of-the-art rope testing devices. In recent years, a completely new rope testing system has been developed, which is now sold under license by ROPESYS GmbH.

The resulting series of devices takes an innovative approach to sensor technology while staying true to its physical principles. In addition to conventional induction coils, the new sensor technology also includes up to 46 Hall sensors around the rope circumference as standard, enabling three-dimensional damage detection and quantification of the loss in metallic cross-section.

To avoid interference, the analog signal preprocessing and digitization are carried out directly in the sensor head, keeping the path of the analog signals extremely short. The operation is intuitively designed and offers the user new and innovative analysis and evaluation capabilities.

The display of measurement data via Wi-Fi, along with a modular design, minimizes external cables and significantly simplifies handling.
