An insight into modern magnetic crane rope testing.

Magnetic crane rope testing is becoming increasingly important these days because safety and efficiency play a growing role in modern factory halls. That’s why this new video shows the ROPESYS R28 in real-world use.

The material clearly illustrates how the rope testing device works in daily practice. This provides an authentic impression of the technology, which fully captures both the external and internal condition of a crane rope.

Technology for a precise assessment of rope condition

The magnetic crane rope inspection system ROPESYS R28 relies on a digital multi-channel sensor that detects changes in the wire rope with high resolution. The system also operates wirelessly and via a web browser, eliminating the need for additional software installation.

Quick and easy mounting on the rope

The design of the ROPESYS R28 is specifically geared towards simplifying setup, because every minute counts, especially in crane applications. Therefore, the rope testing device can be attached to the rope quickly and easily. This ensures a secure fit on the wire rope, and the system is immediately ready for use.

On the one hand, this saves time, and on the other hand, it reduces potential sources of error during preparation. As soon as the rope passes through the device, the real-time measurement starts automatically, allowing the condition of the rope to be assessed immediately.

Real-time measurement with browser-based operation

During the test, the signals are displayed in real time – on a laptop, tablet, or iPad, and completely wirelessly. This allows you to detect any anomalies directly while driving. The browser-based user interface means no additional software is required.

Furthermore, it allows access via different end devices. This keeps the testing process flexible while ensuring all measurement data is presented in a clearly structured manner.

Redundant channels for maximum informative value

The ROPESYS R28 uses a redundant multi-channel system. This allows for the simultaneous acquisition and comparison of LF, LMA, stroke length, and the three-dimensional view. This results in a particularly informative database.

The more complex a test task is, the more important this advantage becomes. Ultimately, the combination of channels enables a complete assessment of the rope, while the digital sensor detects even the smallest deviations.

Robustly built for worldwide use

The weatherproof design of the ROPESYS R28 ensures reliable operation both indoors and outdoors. All magnetic components are made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing long-term stability.

Furthermore, the device is available in several sizes, so that rope diameters from 4 to 350 mm can be tested.

Furthermore, an integrated analysis tool offers both standard evaluation and an automated report generator. This provides complete documentation within a short time after the measurement.

ROPESYS – Safety at the highest level. Made by engineers in Germany.
