International BANG Crane Conference 2025.

Over 300 experts from around 20 nations met at the 5th International BANG Crane Conference 2025 in Oelsnitz.

The event offered numerous opportunities for personal discussions, professional exchange, and new contacts. It clearly demonstrated how much the crane industry benefits from collaboration and networking.

Insights into modern crane technology

BANG Crane Systems presented process and overhead cranes that are developed and produced in Germany.

Visitors gained insights into current solutions for material flow and automation.

At the same time, suppliers presented key components, allowing both developers and users to discuss technical details. Furthermore, it became clear that the family-owned company BANG in Vogtland has placed great emphasis on quality for many years.

ROTEC booth

The ROTEC booth focused on the ROPESYS rope testing systems – for mobile and permanent magnetic rope testing on crane systems.

The team explained how modern non-destructive testing methods work and how measurement data is processed efficiently.

Furthermore, many visitors were interested in how AI supports evaluation and makes testing processes even faster and more secure. This led to numerous discussions about standards, applications, and innovations.

Technical presentation by Dr. Martin Wehr

Dr. Martin Wehr presented modern methods for the non-destructive testing of crane cables at the conference. He demonstrated how AI improves diagnostics and supports the assessment of cable lifespan.

His factual and practical presentation led to an open exchange with many questions from the audience.

Exchange and evening show

Throughout the day, many professional discussions deepened, and new contacts were made. In the evening, BANG hosted a show in which a female artist performed acrobatic figures high above the ground, suspended from a crane hook inside a tire.

The combination of technology and artistry gave the event a special atmosphere.

Conclusion

The International BANG Crane Conference 2025 brought together people, technologies, and ideas. It demonstrated how crucial high-quality process cranes and modern testing methods are for the future of the industry.

Many participants took away inspiration from practical experience, research, and exchange.
