Test setup at the Mountain Planet trade fair booth

The Mountain Planet trade fair is approaching – and at ROTEC, this means not only planning and organization, but also very practical hands-on work.

For the test setup of the Mountain Planet trade fair booth, we fully assembled our booth in advance at our own location. This ensures that everything will run smoothly in Grenoble later on.

Why we test our trade fair booth in advance

While planning a trade fair booth is quick, everything has to work perfectly on-site. Since the conditions vary from trade fair to trade fair, we wanted to play it safe.

Our Octanorm stand, which we first set up ourselves in Innsbruck last year, cannot automatically be transferred one-to-one to Grenoble.

Therefore, it was clear to us: test first, then build.

The test setup allowed us to directly see how much space is actually needed, which adjustments make sense, and how everything can best be implemented.

This not only saves time later, but also reduces stress – and significantly reduces spontaneous improvisations.

A look behind the scenes at ROTEC

For the test, the stand was assembled step by step on our premises – from the first module to the finished construction. The focus was not only on the actual assembly, but above all on testing and optimization.

The individual modules were taken from storage, sorted, assembled, disassembled again, and then rearranged. Just as it might happen at a trade fair.

And incidentally, such preparations repeatedly demonstrate that a trade fair stand doesn’t just happen by itself – it requires teamwork, coordination and sometimes a little improvisation.

Well prepared for Grenoble

After the successful test setup, we are now much more relaxed about Mountain Planet. Because we know that our stand works.

This allows us to concentrate on what really matters on site: interacting with visitors and presenting our solutions.

ROTEC at Mountain Planet in Grenoble

From April 21st to 23rd, 2026, we will be represented at Mountain Planet in Grenoble in Hall 1 at booth 1368.

There we will be showcasing our ROPESYS devices for testing wire ropes and will also be presenting a new development to the public for the first time.

If you’re at the trade fair, please feel free to stop by our booth. We look forward to interesting conversations, new contacts, and exchanging ideas with industry professionals.
