We are looking for reinforcements for our workshop in Stuttgart.

Mechatronics engineer, mechanic or electrical engineer – this is exactly the profile we currently need for our ROTEC team.

Our workshop in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim is looking for support from someone who is enthusiastic about technology and has knowledge of both electronics and mechanics.

About us

We develop, manufacture and service ROPESYS rope testing devices, which is used worldwide – from spectacular cable cars to critical industrial plants.

In short: We don’t build products for the garage. We ensure that cable cars, cranes, and elevators operate safely and reliably internationally.

And now it’s your turn: We’re looking for a true all-rounder for our workshop in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, someone who isn’t afraid of either electronics or mechanics. You’ll be our expert when it comes to assembling, maintaining, and optimally adjusting our high-tech devices.

Your tasks at ROTEC

Electronics Detective: Troubleshooting and repairing our testing equipment (from circuit boards to sensors) Mechanics Expert: Maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical components – tinkering and improvement are expressly encouraged Finishing Touches: Assembly, calibration, and final inspection – you’ll prepare our equipment for worldwide deployment Your Own Projects: Contribute your ideas on how we can make our production processes even more efficient

Your profile

  • Completed training as a mechatronics technician, mechanic or electrical engineer, motivated career starter
  • Safe handling of circuit diagrams and tools – soldering irons and torque wrenches are in good hands with you.
  • Interest in our self-developed, unique technology and enjoyment of working independently
  • Good IT skills (Office, Linux advantageous)
  • Independent, pragmatic work style with an eye for quality
  • Good English skills – our devices are used worldwide
